Woodfired Pottery
Woodfired pottery enters the kiln as raw porcelain and stoneware. It emerges with vibrant glazes from fire and ash, that naturally glaze the pots during the 5-7 day kiln firing process. The extreme labor requirements involve a community of potters, who stoke the kiln non-stop, up to 2,400 degrees F. The result is 100% non-toxic, dishwasher safe pottery with rough, yet beautiful colors and textures.
