Sunset Hill Stoneware employs dozens of potters who work on pottery wheels to mass produce high quantities of custom mugs. Since these mugs are not handmade by Joel Cherrico, he describes them as "merch" mugs. Now, you own a high quality, handmade coffee mug with the official Cherrico Pottery logo, but at a fraction of the cost of Joel's higher end pottery.

Mugs are the most sought after piece that Joel offers and are difficult to keep in stock. We needed something to be available to our customers at a lower price point, while maintaining high quality standards, and the spirit of handmade pottery. Our merch mugs are thrown by potters on a pottery wheel in Wisconsin, USA, with clay dug in the USA. This "Logo Merch Mug" showcases the abstract line drawing that adorns every piece of Cherrico Pottery.

All Cherrico Pottery is 100% non-toxic and meant to eat and drink from everyday. These particular "Logo Mugs" by Sunset Hill Stoneware are also 100% microwave and dishwasher safe.

Color Varieties: All Sunset Hill Stoneware mugs vary slightly in color, shape, size and glaze consistency. Pottery is made from raw materials dug from the earth, then handcrafted by potters, resulting in natural variations. While all of these mugs match the photography above very closely, no two mugs are alike and color can vary depending on light.
