Intricate glazing combinations of lunar and nebula surface techniques give this bowl stunning contrast. Light and dark colors combine for an eye catching combo, while retaining massive complexity. This glaze combination takes immense time and effort to create.
The exterior of these bowls are inspired by moon and asteroid surfaces. The circular, carved textures resemble asteroid impact craters of both moons and asteroids floating out in space.
These interior glazes applied to these bowls are inspired by a swooping cloud of gases captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The gorgeous, cosmic glaze pallet is locked permanently onto the bowl canvas. This pot is great for serving food or acting as a table centerpiece.
All of our Stoneware and porcelain pottery is 100% food and dishwasher safe. Some Lunar/Moon pottery might not be microwaveable, because exterior colors come from metal colorants. On rare occasions, we have seen Cobalt colorant spark in a microwave like a fork or spoon. All pottery includes instructions for testing your pottery in your microwave oven before use.
