This beautiful bowl has small surface defects near the bottom of the piece as shown in the product photos. This bowl is still 100% percent functional as a bowl and the surface defects will never change. Intricate glazing combinations of lunar and nebula surface techniques give this bowl stunning contrast. Light and dark colors combine for an eye catching combo, while retaining massive complexity. This glaze combination takes immense time and effort to create on even moderately larger pots like this bowl.
The exterior of these bowls are inspired by moon and asteroid surfaces. The circular, carved textures resemble asteroid impact craters of both moons and asteroids floating out in space.
These interior glazes applied to these bowls are inspired by a swooping cloud of gases captured by NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The gorgeous, cosmic glaze pallet is locked permanently onto the bowl canvas. This pot is great for serving food or acting as a table centerpiece.
All of our Stoneware and porcelain pottery is 100% food and dishwasher safe. All cosmic pots are completely microwave safe.
How We Price Pottery
Each piece of artwork is priced relative to the time and materials required for creation. Intricate colors, textures and shapes generally take far longer to create, requiring higher prices. We hope that enough pottery styles are available so any of you can find artwork within your price range.
