These cups are great for water, beer or any other delicious drinks. They vary slightly in size and shape, but they work well together as a matching set. The neutral colors of the brown and gold drips fit well in almost any home or business setting.
Comfortable spiral textures in the sides of these cups help them look and feel handmade, emphasizing how they were formed with my hands on a spinning pottery wheel. Finger marks on the bottom of each cup were left from my fingers intentionally, showing how I dipped the pots in the Nuka glaze.
All of our Stoneware and porcelain pottery is 100% food and dishwasher safe.
Standard Ware describes a line of pottery that is balanced between beauty and utility. "Nuka" describes a historical Japanese glaze made with local wood ashes. You can learn how Joel Cherrico developed his custom Nuka glaze over years of testing ceramic glaze chemistry by reading this blog post.
